The Bureau of Reclamation has selected the following Phase 2 winners to share in the $575,000 Total Prize Pool of the Seal Team Fix Challenge. The winners are:
- HYDRA - Hydraulic Dam Retention Assembly, submitted by TAB Technologies
- Inflated Torpedo Tubes With Ventilation, submitted by Team Venturi
- Roller Seal Fix, submitted by Jan Beetge
In Phase 3, these teams will deliver their prototypes to Reclamation in preparation for demonstration and testing in a Reclamation controlled laboratory setting. The teams will use physical hydraulic models that closely simulate the operating conditions of Reclamation conduits.
