No dams, just storage

River flow can easily be harnessed by floating turbines. Power can be stored before generating on-demand (much better than by dams or by pumped hydro). This seems the cheapest and quickest solution, and doesn't harm the environment at all. A US team is needed to build a prototype.

I agree, the river/ streams do act as a continuous fill storage vessel.I’m developing a system that actually pumps from the surface to the systems and directly back. No dams, fish friendly, geographically can be placed anywhere and best of all cheap to implement.
