SOLAR THERMAL ENERGY- HYDROGEN BOILERS FOR SEA WATER DESALINATION.
There are two common methods of solar desalination. Either using the direct heat from the sun or using electricity generated by solar cells to power a membrane process.
It also openly acknowledges that hydrogen fuel is a safe and low-carbon alternative for energy. The industry will do all it can to ensure that any new boiler is manufactured with ease of installation and best practice at the core. Electrolysis is the most promising method of hydrogen production from water due to its high conversion efficiency and relatively low required energy input when compared to thermochemical and photocatalytic methods. The PV power station shall use PEM electrolysis Technology for generation of hydrogen. The hydrogen shall be stored in steel Storage at a suitable safe site with in power station premises. The fuel cells shall use compressed Hydrogen to produce electricity when sun shall not be shining. The fuel cell shall also supply electricity to produce extra Hydrogen when Sun is not shining. The compressed Hydrogen converted back to electricity via FUEL CELLs shall also operate auxiliaries such as pumps and lighting system of Water Desalination Plant.
Adequate automatic firefighting system shall be provided for the Hydrogen steel storage tanks against fire emergency.
The Fire Fighting System shall be comprised of a compressor with a Chemical filled Tank with a supply line going on top of the Hydrogen Storage Tank with Vacuum Sensors. In the case of Fire in Storage Tank Vacuum created would activate the compressor motor injecting and spraying the chemical on top of the storage tank forming an umbrella to stop the supply of the Oxygen and thus control the fire instantly. The Control Room of the power station fire indication panel would also indicate the location of the storage tank on fire. A similar automatic Fire Fighting system shall be provided in the power station for firefight.

PLANT OPERATION.
Sea water shall be pumped to hydrogen boilers by pumping plants operated by fuel cell electricity. The fresh water steam shall pass through cooing water economizer. The cooling water economizer shall be pumped sea water for its cooling. The supply line shall supply hot sweet water to cooling tower or to cooling water bonds through fountains. The sweet water line from cooling tower or cooling pond shall deliver sweet water storage system.
