Dr. Wesley Williams earned his Mechanical Engineering B.S. at North Carolina State University, M.S. at Georgia Institute of Technology, and Ph.D. at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Dr. Williams’ research is focused on the areas of manufacturing, mechanical design, and renewable energy. For the past six years, he has pursued the design, analysis, manufacturing, and testing of magnetic gearing and power takeoff solutions for wind turbines, ocean current turbines, and wave energy converters.
