Terry, a trained lawyer with a Juris Doctor from George Washington University National Law Center, is a member of the Maryland Bar and a former practicing attorney. In 2011 she founded Clozynergy, Inc., the Maryland 501(c)(3) preparing underserved communities for energy jobs and in 2012, complemented it with Visionergy, LLC. In 2022 she returned for a STEM degree and secured a Associates in Engineering and is currently a Junior in Materials Science at A. James Clark School of Engineering (UMD). In 2022, Visionergy won a semifinal position in the Energy TechUp Prize with the Office of Building Technologies. This win inspired Visionergy to compete in the 2023 TechUp Competition, where it won a $25,000 Bonus Prize from the Geothermal Technologies Office. Visionergy is converting its two Provisional U.S. Patents to Non-provisional patents and submitting additional patents applications for derivative assemblies.
