“Seeing a technology go from prototype, through the various stages of an s-curve to market adoption!”
bio
I began my career in the U.S National Labs as an HVAC energy efficiency analyst where I validated the demonstration of an early-stage controller. I then was the system analyst for a $250M portfolio of solar assets. I evaluated electric losses to increase performance. I earned a Joint International Masters Degree in Sustainable Development in Graz, Austria and Hiroshima, Japan where I took courses on innovation management, risk assessment, business model innovation, and entrepreneurship. Later on, I would partner with the City of New Orleans to lead the proposal of a $7M DoE connected energy community grant. I also drafted a business model to develop a silicon wafer manufacturing plant in the U.S for foreign investment. Currently, I am the CEO of AP, a material supply firm for solar cell semiconductor manufacturers. I also teach as an adjust instructor at a variety of state universities and have access to a talent pool of students.
