This project will establish a Resiliency Hub in Springdale, Utah, to serve as a model for integrated clean energy infrastructure that supports emergency response, energy security, and livability in rural gateway communities. By focusing on Springdale first, the project will generate replicable tools and frameworks for regional scaling to the neighboring towns of Rockville, Virgin, La Verkin, Hurricane, and the Zion Mountain Local Service District (ZMLSD), all identified through local vulnerability and infrastructure strain assessments as underserved and under-resourced communities. With direct support from Zion National Park, Utah Clean Cities, and the Zion Regional Collaborative (ZRC), the project aims to deliver scalable resilience planning, emergency training, EVSE readiness, and workforce pathways.
