ower-UP Jackson is a transdisciplinary team of experienced professionals working in Jackson Mississippi and across the southern United States collaborating across disciplines and involving key stakeholders to develop innovative and equitable solutions to community problems. The team leverages its expertise to integrate the natural, social and engineering sciences across key sectors of solar energy, engineering, urban planning, education, disaster recovery and management, advocacy and civic engagement. This project location is in West Jackson, one of the most impoverished regions of the City of Jackson, the capital of the state of Mississippi.
