Register now to join the Data-Driven Distributed (3D) Solar Visibility Prize Informational Webinar on May 29 at 3 p.m. ET. This new $175,000 prize challenges competitors to develop models and algorithms that provide accurate and real-time data on distributed solar generation from residential, commercial, and industrial solar energy to utilities and grid operators.
Competitors in the 3D Solar Visibility Prize will develop a distribution system state estimation (DSSE) tool and be provided with measurements to test them. Competitors will submit their DSSE tool results for two distribution system networks through the Open Energy Data Initiative for solar systems integration (OEDI SI) platform for 14 consecutive days. The OEDI SI team will then compare the DSSE’s performance against a set of industry standard metrics to select the top-performing teams.
The informational webinar will present prize goals, timeline, prizes, eligibility requirements, and more. Plus, prize administrators will answer your questions live!
