Congratulations to Yapili and Dr Elsa for winning TheBotnarChallenge 2018.

The judges from Fondation Botnar, Sahara Ventures, Creaholic, UNICEF Innovation, Impact Hub and Women Deliver Young Leaders Network had a difficult decision but these two teams demonstrated innovative solutions but also great team motivation to take their ideas to the next level.

In addition, Voice-Sauti and Vijana Afya demonstrated great problem definitions that need to be addressed in Tanzania. Hence, Fondation Botnar will continue to provide coaching and mentorship as well as a small grant to further innovate around their idea.

12 hours remaining to submit!

July 31, 2018, 3 a.m. PDT by Kiara Barnes

If you're still preparing your submission, you have exactly 12 hours left to complete it! Don't forget to include and upload your NABC concept description.

Here's a tip: HeroX recommends innovators plan to submit with at least a 3-hour window of time before the true deadline. Last-minute technical problems and unforeseen roadblocks have been the cause of many headaches. Don't let that be you!

We look forward to receiving your submission!
