We have new details about tomorrow's webinar, Outreach for Space Challenge teams!
Join us Friday, Nov. 30, 1:00 p.m. Eastern/10:00 a.m. Pacific to hear from the University of Southern California about how their community college outreach program increased diversity on their Liquid Propulsion Lab, and how they tailored hands-on rocketry projects to be appropriate for the community college students' expertise, while also expanding their knowledge.
You will also hear from program leaders at the University of Texas-Austin and Huston-Tillotson University, a historically black college and university (HBCU), about their joint efforts to give students from underserved backgrounds exposure to world-class, hands-on rocketry projects. We will also share info about other HBCUs that are seeking partnership opportunities with teams in the Base 11 Space Challenge.
You'll have the opportunity to share your own experiences with outreach, and ask questions of our presenters.
