A Rewarding Rewards Program
A new type of rewards program that gives discounts if users have been working out through an in-store gym or corresponding app.

The body pillar is being addressed by our solution, as it seeks to inspire users to work out and improve their physical fitness. This idea pushes individuals to be proactive and take control of their own lives by offering them rewards for doing so. One type of individual who would really benefit from this idea is someone who wants to starts working out but needs an extra bit of motivation to begin doing so. This program could be the spark that person needs to turn their life around.

Our idea is unique in that no other apparel company is offering a fitness-based rewards program that gives user benefits for being active. Moreover, no other apparel company has its own fitness app to guide people in workouts. If this idea is successful, it will radically change the way that companies handle discounts, and will push other companies to reward customers for bettering themselves. Unlike many other solutions, this idea really motivates a user to change their lifestyle,
5. Action Plan: Please justify and briefly describe the major steps needed to make this idea a reality. Does the technology and understanding exist now? Is it likely to exist in the next 3-5 years?
The first major step needed to make this idea a reality is to begin installing small workout areas in the larger Lululemon stores and working with professional fitness instructors to create group workout plans that can be done remotely through the app. Once the planned workouts are in place, Lululemon could first roll out the rewards program to their most consistent visitors to get feedback on what aspects of the plan can be improved, what discounts/rewards they want to see, and how they feel about having to complete a Lululemon approved routines (whether in person or remotely) to be eligible for the rewards. After this initial testing phase, the plan can be rolled out across all of the Lululemon stores. The technology available for this plan is already available, and other companies such as peloton have shown the effectiveness and engagement provided by instructor-led group workouts that people can do at home.
