Intelligent Sizing Kiosk
We propose a kiosk that automatically sizes up customers and provides customized sizing and clothing recommendations.

This idea reduces the stress on users because many people struggle with finding athletic wear that fits well. Additionally many people may have anxiety about approaching lululemon employees. Our idea provides people with a stress-free way to find and try out clothing.
4. Innovation: Why is your idea unique, novel, and/or impactful? What will the future look like if we’re successful in bringing your idea to life? How does the proposed solution differ from existing solutions addressing human well-being?
Our idea is innovative because it automates somethign that many people struggle with in clothing stores. Instead of going through item after item of clothing that doesn't fit, people can quickly identify clothes that will likely look and feel great to wear.
5. Action Plan: Please justify and briefly describe the major steps needed to make this idea a reality. Does the technology and understanding exist now? Is it likely to exist in the next 3-5 years?
There is already a large amount of work related to computer vision and automated modeling of humans. However, a large amount of exploratory work would need to be done to adapt it to our application of interest. Although related technology exists, it would likely take some time and research to make the idea a reality. It would definitely be possible to accomplish in the next 3-5 years.
