The Revolution of Radical Love
Recognize and Acknowledge the Power of Love in our communities by honoring those who are Courageous enough to exemplify Radical Love!
3. Opportunity: Which pillar of well-being, and which aspect of that particular pillar, are being addressed by the idea? In what way does it influence a pillar? What type of individual and community would benefit from the idea?
The Mind & Community Pillars are addressed with "Radical Love." The U.S. is experiencing an epidemic; 1 in 6 people is on a prescribed medication for depression, mental illness and/or anxiety. Suicide is a leading cause of death. With a population of 7 billion, the biggest complaint is that people feel alone. With more than enough food to feed everyone, people are starving. With an increase in our comforts suffering is greater. We don't need more resources we need Radical Love.
4. Innovation: Why is your idea unique, novel, and/or impactful? What will the future look like if we’re successful in bringing your idea to life? How does the proposed solution differ from existing solutions addressing human well-being?
Radical Love (a not for profit offset of LuLulemon) that takes the revenue from its line of clothing and filters it to those who have committed an act of Radical Love.
I.E. Given in spite of a Hardship, Loved a perceived enemy or someone who is or has caused harm. Radical Love isn't for the weak it is a love that takes courage. In Radical Love there is no You and Me, Us and Them. We will dismantle the barriers of separation and old ways of thinking towards a unified Radical Love.
5. Action Plan: Please justify and briefly describe the major steps needed to make this idea a reality. Does the technology and understanding exist now? Is it likely to exist in the next 3-5 years?
Phase one- Lululemon applies for a 501c3 or partners with an existing one.
Phase two-Design a Logo for Radical Love and create a line specific for radical Love. (This could include new products like accessories with Heart Math technology. Like a bracelet that informs the user when they are not in a coherent state. Non-coherence means disconnected from their heart.
Phase three- Radical love features there clothing line and products in every store and highlights a community member who has committed an act of Radical Love. This person is featured in the store and their story is highlighted on the website, social media etc. The profits from the sales of the clothing line go to the not for profit. Where LuLulemon can show how they are donating funds to people who have loved even when experiencing a hardship and the charity can help restore them in someway.
Phase Four- radical Love becomes a movement. Social media, Yogis, influencers all start wearing and speaking about Radical Love.
Phase Five- Radical Love the non profit portion of LuLulemon is Holding Love and Community inspired events , conferences and retreats (Scholarships can be given to those less fortunate whom have been selected by the community. These events would include all three Pillars and would take place in Conference centers, Event centers, possibly outside (Depending on time of year or location.) These retreats and conferences would encompass all three pillars. With mindfulness exercises and teachers (Meditation, breathing, Meta meditation, Love and Light etc.), Yoga, inspirational speakers, new- age thought provoking platform for healing and coming together under an umbrella of Love and Community.
The goal- To honor that bravery to take down and dismantle the walls of fear and separation and build a new world of radical love and inclusiveness Loving even in the face of the enemy or danger. It is embracing the opposing forces and dissolving them with Love ultimately guiding community towards healing of whole self.
