Hamse Ismail, 29, is a young African entrepreneur from Somalia. Mr. Ismail went to Medical College in Kenya on merit based EU funded scholarship. In his professional life, he focuses entrepreneurship and leadership. He was selected by the U.S State Department to do the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders and finished it at the University of Delaware in Newark, DE in August 1, 2015. He is the founder and CEO of Maalgashi Group (MG), a joint venture that invests in a wide array of businesses both service and product based in Somalia and across the Horn of Africa. He has always a strong passion for start-ups, environment-friendly business solutions and solving the widespread youth unemployment in Africa.
