I am pursuing my PhD in Agronomy at The Pennsylvania State University, University Park campus. We are trying to understand the co-ordinated regulation of flavonoid biosynthetic pathways in sorghum and maize. Along the way, we identified plant types over expressing the novel flavonoid compounds that may have an impact on the natural food coloring industry.
