Chrissy Henderson
Materials Engineers from the Bureau of Reclamation
Dr. Chrissy Henderson is a Materials Engineer for the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation Technical Service Center’s Materials Engineering and Research Laboratory. She holds BS and MS Degrees in Physics and Mathematics and a Ph.D. in Engineering As a certified NACE Cathodic Protection Technologist (CP3), her primary role is to design and implement corrosion control in the form of cathodic protection on various water infrastructure. She also leads major projects in materials research including cavitation mitigation and protection of brittle transformer bushings. She took the lead role in Reclamation’s first project involving preservation of an historic asset: the Yankee Fork Gold Dredge, near Stanley Idaho.
