Dan Zarate was a Research Chemist with the U.S. Navy - Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center in Port Hueneme, California. He was the Paints & Coatings SME from 1993 to 2015 then the Corrosion Prevention and Control SME until retirement in March 2018. He currently works for KTA Tator / Elzly. He is NACE CIP certified, SSPC Protective Coating Specialist and Protective Coatings Inspector and MPI Coating Inspector certified. He is very highly regarded in architectural and industrial coating fields.
