“What’s Your Vision?” social media campaign

Dear Inclusive Energy Innovation community,

As part of the Inclusive Energy Innovation Prize’s outreach efforts, we’ve launched the “What’s Your Vision?” campaign.

Our goal with the campaign is to build a community of inspired innovators, grassroots supporters, and passionate influencers who can help get the word out about this new and exciting prize.

Leaders from the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, supporters from national labs, and members of the prize administration team have all already participated in this campaign.

Now, we want to hear from you.

Here’s what we want to know: Why were you inspired to get involved in this prize? What does an equitable, clean energy future look like to you? We invite and empower you to record your brief video message that describes your vision for an equitable clean energy future and share it from your social media account(s). Continue the conversation by calling on others to share their vision using the hashtags: #WhatsYourVision and #InclusiveEnergy Innovation Prize. Be sure to also tag the American-Made Challenges account on Twitter (@AMCprizes)!

Please note this activity is completely voluntary, and your participation will not impact or affect your submission package or scores.

If you are interested in participating in the “What’s Your Vision?” campaign, look over the campaign toolkit (available in the resources tab) for prompts, examples, best practices for recording your message and how to interact on social media, and sample social media posts.

Thank you, and we look forward to hearing more about your vision!
The Inclusive Energy Innovation Prize Administration Team
