Size, Noise, Speed for Participation in the Final Fly Off

GoFly offers Teams a number of ways to participate in the Final Fly Off.

All GoFly prizes require Teams to keep within the spirit of GoFly’s rules, but one does not need to meet the size, noise, or speed threshold requirement in order to be eligible for the Pratt & Whitney Disruptor Prize.

Teams who meet all threshold levels will be eligible for the Grand Prize, the Size Prize, the Noise Prize and the Disruptor Prize.

Teams who do not meet the size, noise, or speed thresholds may enter the competition and participate in the Fly Off, and those Teams will be eligible for the Disruptor Prize.

So too, all Teams must pass the Flight Readiness Review in order to fly in the Fly Off, but noise, size, and speed threshold measurements are not part of the FRR. We will be providing more details about the FRR in the coming weeks.
