Thank you to everyone who participated in the Collaborative Geothermal Manufacturing Prize Innovation and Teaming Session this week! The prize administrators heard some excellent discussion and saw collaboration between a variety of industry professionals.

As the Geothermal Manufacturing Prize submission deadline—Aug. 26 at 5 p.m. ET—draws nearer, the prize administrators have seen innovators looking for assistance on their Ready! Contest submission. We are excited to share that as a Power Connector, the Wilton E. Scott Institute for Energy Innovation at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) is available to provide submission support for all potential Geothermal Prize participants.

You can expect to receive general feedback on ways to improve your technical narrative and other submission elements. The Scott Institute is offering support in the following ways:

  • Review question narrative responses
  • Articulate technical concepts and ideas
  • Connect you with Network members who can discuss partnership
  • Critique your project messaging and goals
  • Provide feedback on your 90-second video.

Teams will also be able to ask questions about the prize and get advice on next steps for your innovation. If you would like to work with the experts at the Scott Institute on your Geothermal Prize Ready! submission, please

Don’t forget—the deadline to compete in the Geothermal Manufacturing Prize is Aug. 26 at 5 p.m. ET!
